The Vergokan group, based in Oudenaarde (B), produces and commercializes cable support systems made in steel and used by installers of electrical circuits in industrial and administrative projects. In addition to this core activity, the group has its own galvanization facility producing both for internal purposes as for external parties. A third component of the group is a powder coating facility, merely focusing on production for third parties. May 2008 Vergokan acquires Grada International, with production facilities in Lokeren and a sales office located near Paris. This takeover frames within the diversification of the Vergokan group activities. The core activities of Grada are the design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of a huge assortment of steel and aluminium grilles, diffusers, louvers, valves and chilled beams for the non-residential construction market. Including Grada, the Vergokan group reaches a consolidated turnover figure of 50 million EUR.
